Job Summary Are you ready to make a difference in the world of heavy machinery? Caterpillar in Seguin, Texas is seeking a dynamic Production Technician to join our team! As a Production Technician, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working hands-on to assemble, test, and troubleshoot our cutting-edge equipment.

Aligning and installing gaskets, seals, bearings, hoses, covers, and visual components.
Ensuring that parts and materials used in the assembly process are free from quality defects.
Assisting other departments with problem solving or improvement ideas related to assembly.
Verifying correct alignment of engine components using engine schematics and part prints.
Inspecting parts and materials to ensure they are free from quality defects.
Performing audits and carry out quality inspections to correct known defects.
Performing torque audits, leak tests, and visual inspection on all engines.
Shipping and receiving parts and verifying invoices to ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensuring materials received and delivered are free from quality defects.
Re-packing and arranging parts for warehouse storage or delivery to the assembly area.
Operating forklifts and tuggers to move materials within the facility.
Accurately and efficiently delivering and removing materials.
Submitting and assisting with the resolution of C.
P.

Continuous Improvement cards.
Following standard operating procedures and area specific work instructions.
Providing information to supervisors and managers about processes within assigned area.
Occasionally participating in training opportunities and development for the quality department.
All other duties as assigned.
What you will have: Minimum of 2 months' experience in a machining, manufacturing environment Must have the ability to work well with others Must have general knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Must have experience Beginner level experience with Microsoft Office What would make you a top candidate: Previous experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to perform repetitive operations Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
