Job Summary:
Thrilling opportunity for a Production Technician III on the C15 line at the Seguin facility within TX's Industrial Power Systems Division! As a Production Technician III, you are responsible for assembling Caterpillar diesel engines, reporting to Section Managers, and meeting customer and company demands.
What you will do:
Align and secure engine components per work instructions
Install gaskets, seals, bearings, hoses, covers, and visual components
Ensure defect-free parts and materials in the assembly process
Aid other departments in problem-solving and assembly-related improvements
Handle shipping, receiving, and verify invoices for inventory accuracy
Repack and organize parts for warehouse storage or assembly area delivery
Operate forklifts and tuggers for material movement within the facility
Submit and assist with resolving continuous improvement cards
Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions
Provide process information to supervisors and managers
Perform other assigned duties
What you will have:
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
Self-sufficiency in working alone
24 months of assembly/manufacturing experience or equivalent college coursework
What would make you a top candidate:
Ability to read complex electrical assembly instructions
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Previous experience with similar electrical cabinet repair or assembly
Additional industrial equipment experience
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift to 35 lbs.

What you will get:
$18.
50/hour starting payrate
40-hour work week with potential for overtime
Monday-Thursday, 5:48am to 4:18pm
