Residential Construction Manager Trainee

Masonwood Homes is a locally owned, production Homebuilder in business for 11 years.
We are expanding in the Austin metro area and looking for a smart, energetic Construction Trainee.
Requirements * Behave with Integrity, do the right thing, even when no one is watching * Always be early and always be prepared as possible so as to not waste time * Aptitude for problem solving and working with trades and vendors * Persistent with excellent follow up skills * Detail oriented and extremely organized * Ability to change directions with changing priorities and adapt quickly * Talent for learning new skills and responsibilities * Capacity to take ownership of one's work * Treat company assets as if they were your own * Strong sense of urgency * Must be able to work outside in different weather conditions Job Responsibilities * Keep impeccable records of lumber & material inventory * Provide superb communication of lumber and material status to our management team * Control material deliveries to homes * Report any material quality issues * Support Construction Managers in building on time, on budget & on quality * Provide excellent warranty service * Promote a team spirit and a safe work site * Take on new assignments Work experience * Experience at a lumber yard or residential construction Skills Required * A positive attitude * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills * Excellent organizational and math skills * Willingness to learn and solve problems * Proficient in Microsoft office * Spanish is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $48,000.
