*Position:* Encapsulation Technician *Available Shifts:* Rotating 10 hour Day Shifts Monday-Friday .
Overtime may be required *Job Description/Essential Functions of the Encapsulation Technician:* * In charge of loading and blending powder through the semi-automatic machine for encapsulation process * Supplies Encapsulation Technician with materials needed for encapsulation process: barrels, empty capsules, IBCs, carts, tools, and other encapsulation supplies * Set-up and breakdown of machine and fixtures for processing.
Work is based on specific guidelines for each machine and part.
Set-up activities may require the use of hand tools.
* Moves and/or stacks bins/metal plates/bucket of materials and may load tubs of materials to work centers as applicable.
* Strong attention to detail * Carefully handles and washes encapsulation parts varying in size and weight * Visually and manually inspect capsule based to inspection guidelines to ensure quality standards.
* Checks and corrects any conditions which are not conducive to a safe, clean work place.
Report any safety problems immediately.
* Complete documentation accurately and legibly per established guidelines.
* Efficient problem solving.
* Maintains clean and orderly work area including: cleaning machines, breakdown of machine, tools and area around work station.
* Ability to be at the physical location of the job at the designated shift assigned.
* Ability to multitask efficiently * Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a GMP, quality environment including but not limited to: inspections and GMP requirements to perform essential functions of the job.
Must re-qualify every year on all job-related tests and certifications as job or qualifications require *Education/Skill/Experience Qualifications of an Encapsulation Technician:* It is preferred that applicants have 3-6 years of machine operation in a high yield production environment and the following: * Familiar with GMP's & SOP's * High School Diploma or GED preferred * Must be able to read and write English * Clean Background check * Ability to lift 50 pounds * Ability to stand all shifts and keep up in a fast-paced environment * Possess a sense of urgency * High manual dexterity is a MUST * Must have reliable transportation * Other skills and knowledge that is preferred: \* Weight settings\* Line Speed\* Shift reporting and documentation\* line clean up and equipment changeovers as necessary\* Equipment breakdown and re-assemble *Physical Demands:* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is continuously required to stand; use continuous hand, arm and finger manipulation cleaning and set-up of the machine while performing the daily job function; continuously walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching and standing/walking throughout production room requiring balance.
Environment requires climbing a ladder, so comfortable clothing and shoes with non-skid soles are recommended.
The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
The vision requirements include: clear concise, close/distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The Encapsulation Operator duties include: * Assembling: 10 hours a day, 4 day schedule work week, depending on order and production.
* Encapsulating: 10 hours a day depending on volume of order.
The buckets, bags and bins may weigh up to approximately 50 lbs.
* Operate equipment requiring concise, close distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
* Lift buckets, bags, bins and carry 50 lbs items while climbing steps is required due to the nature of the manufacturing plant environment is a daily routine for the Encapsulation Operator.
* Washes encapsulation equipment parts that my weigh up to 50 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and dry dusty conditions; moving mechanical parts; airborne particles; the noise level in the environment is moderate.
Exposure to blending material agents, supplies and fumes, prepares orders with operating equipment that may release airborne particles, moving mechanical equipment to complete assembly of machinery.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.
