Utility Operator

Job Details Description $20- $26/hr.
based on experience Qualifications Basic Skills: Scaffolding Carpentry Painting Welding, cutting, rigging.
Understand material handling, operation, and trouble shooting.
Basic understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics Competencies: High level of safety consciousness.
Good communication skills.
Planning and Organization Skills.
Detail oriented.
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Energetic & self-motivated.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Must be able to perform basic computer operations.
Ability to safely use hand & power tools.
Major Duties/Responsibilities: Ensures safety is an integral part of all job duties at all times.
Observe Texas Lehigh Cement Company’s safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
Responsible for housekeeping.
Responsible for the preventive & corrective repairs of assigned tools and equipment.
Detect equipment anomalies observed in the field & report back to supervisor.
Perform light mechanical maintenance activities; make repairs, minor installations and replacements.
Perform condition-monitoring activities.
