There are things I have I am willing to let go, and things that I want.
I will list the sale prices, but note that +/- cash with a trade is perfectly acceptable.
I have 3 TC Electronic RS212 cabs, 2 with covers.
$325 no cover, $350 with cover.
Not looking to sell only the covers, the cabs are kind of big and I want to make room.
For trades I'm interested in TC Electronic RS210 cabs.
Smaller, lighter, and easier to fit in my small car.
I have a Pedulla Rapture 5 string with OHSC in great condition, sunburst with rosewood.
Currently strung with ground flats, but they feel and sound like flats.
Single soapbar version.
Est value $1600+.
I like the bass and would rather not convert it to fretless.
I just prefer the sound of my Warwicks.
Hartke 5 string bass with the aluminum Vaccaro neck, black with a full wood sleeve.
The electronics were kind of meh so I replaced the preamp with one that boosts and cuts 2 bands (original was boost only) and JBE Jazz pickups.
Current Vaccaro XRay 5 is over 2 grand on Reverb, which is quite high.
The Hartke has a different headstock but is still aluminum, on Reverb lists the Hartke XK-5 for over a grand, but I'd value it closer to $650.
Original parts long gone.
I have other narrow spaced basses I enjoy more, but there is nothing wrong with this one.
I do not remember why the A string was replaced with a red one, it's been a while.
Tobias Growler 4 string, sunburst.
This is the version with the 2 switches and 4 knobs, not 5 knobs and no switches.
I'll leave which one is the desirable version up to you.
I'd value this at least at $1000, but note that the Tobias case has seen better days (bass is in great shape).
The controls are volume, pan between the front and rear coils of the pickup, separate bass and treble for the front and back coils, and 3 position EQ pre shape for the front and back coils.
Yeah its an odd design, but that's the Growler for you.
The pickup is actually a quad coil Bartolini, so the front is dual coil and the back is dual coil, so if you go front or rear only it's still humbucking.
If that's not enough there are internal trimpots for the amount of treble and midrange (I've never touched these) so I suppose they could have had more knobs on the front if they'd wanted to.
~~~~~~~~~~~ I've also been jonesing for a fretless 5, but I'm a little picky with my gear.
A German made Warwick (I like the LX5 with MEC electronics, or Corvette) would be great.
I've also looked at Spectors, I like the Euro 5 or possibly Rebop if you have one that is fretless.
I'm not into Ibanez SR basses of any model, the necks just don't feel right to me.
I prefer tighter spacing at the bridge over wider spacing.
17mm is good, 19mm not so much.
Headless is right out.
I am not adverse to modded instruments depending on the mods.
Not looking to ship, meet up face to face or I'm out.
