$1400 firm.
.
Custom-built for me two years ago by amplifier guru,
"Hurricane" Gary Drouin, of Sarasota, Fl, who has been handbuilding tube amplifiers for guitarists and harmonica-players for 35 years.
(Look up Hurricane Amplifiers on Facebook)
Never has left my home, and has less than 2 hours of playtime on it.
Sounds better than the Deluxe Reverbs and Princetons I have owned over the years.
-------------------------------------------------
Handwired point-to-point, this amp is a cross between a '64 and '65 Princeton Reverb less the tremelo (#AA1164 circuit)
Two 6V6
Two 12AX7
One 12 AT7
One 5AR4
Classic Tone Output Transformer
Mod Reverb Tank
Fiberglass turret board
Orange drop capacitors
Silver plated copper hookup wire
Matchless-style cabinet w/tubing
12" Allesandro SC-64 speaker
(the go-to replacement for the old, vintage Oxford speaker with felt dust-cap.
Incredible speaker! Google it and research)
Weber Beam-blocker
Because of the size of this open-back cabinet, this amp brings a very loud 12 watts, and is louder than any unmodified stock Blues Jr.
See the size of Hurricane V-12 sitting beside a Blues Jr in photo
V-12 weighs 42 lbs.
