Coordinate food orders and oversee food preparation and cooking processes.
Monitor food plating and temperature to maintain quality standards.
Maintain portion sizes and ensure consistency in food presentation.
Schedule kitchen staff shifts efficiently to meet operational demands.
Collaborate with the Culinary Operations Manager to assist in menu pricing.
Order food supplies and address kitchen equipment needs.
Train kitchen staff on proper prep work and food plating techniques.
Adhere to safety practices and store food products in compliance with regulations.
Assist in generating weekly and monthly food cost reports.
Uphold sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
Ensure that all dishes are properly cooked, presented, and served to create a memorable dining experience.
Strive to exceed guest expectations and promptly address any concerns or issues.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
Proficiency in ordering, vendor communication, and monthly inventory management.
Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent conflict management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Food Service management certification.
Certification from a culinary school or a degree in Restaurant Management is a plus.
