Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers by acting with a “customer comes first” attitude and creating the “NGE Way” environment in every station.
Provides quality food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all SOP recipe and presentation standards.
Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of NGE.
Maintains a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume or unusual events to maintain a clean comfortable store environment.
Sets a positive example for the team.
Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customer for cues.
Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the “NGE Way” environment during each shift.
Follows NGE’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift.
Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that team members can locate resources and product as needed.
Manages orders and inventory levels to meet customer needs.
Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools, (i.
e.
, NGE Book) and by collaborating with store manager to find new, creative, and effective methods of recognition.
Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing red flags or changes in team morale and communicating them to the management team.
Assists with new team training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
Provides feedback to store manager on team performance during shift.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality by checking schedules regularly for changes.

Develops positive relationships with the team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns.
Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by the team.
Follows up with baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service for all customers.
Communicates equipment issues/needs to management team to eliminate/minimize disruptions to store operations and the “HMI Way” environment.
