School Operations Manager

US Aviation Academy is looking for a Campus Operations Manager for our FAA Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) school located in San Marcos, Texas.
Our program is an accelerated 12-month course that takes students with no prior experience through all requirements to become certified aircraft mechanics.
It is an exciting industry with huge potential to change students' lives.
US Aviation Academy started in 2006 and has since become one of the largest aviation schools in the country, teaching both pilots and mechanics.
The Operations Manager can expect a fast-paced environment with a quickly growing school.
*Responsibilities:* * Work tirelessly for student success and satisfaction * Community engagement and industry partnerships * Focus on student experience, dropout rates, and job outcomes after graduation * Point of contact for all student career services including resume prep, job interviewing and job search assistance * Help to coordinate student's FAA Exams - there are 3 written and 2 oral and practical that the student's must pass to receive their credentials to work in the field * Oversees the daily contact of students to ensure their needs are being met and issues are being addressed including but not limited to retention efforts, funding matters, career services and student services.
* Offers support and guidance to students in all matters and works to increase student engagement and completion of the Academy’s programs and courses *Preferred Skills/Experience* * Management / Director of a technical school or similar institution * Aviation experience or a passion for aviation * Start-up experience a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.
00 - $80,000.
