*Qualifications:*
* Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience
* TABC Certification
* Food Handlers Certificate
* Food Manager Certification
* Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week and work flexible hours to manage and operate the bar effectively
* Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on business needs
* Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
* Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
* Driver’s License (Required)
* High school or equivalent

*What you’ll be doing:*
* Supervise all cocktail/bar/kitchen staff.
* Responsible for positional placement for all cocktail/bar staff.
* Assisting the Management Team in making sure the bar operates efficiently and effectively
* The commitment and sense of responsibility to step in when a problem arises and correctly solving the problem.
Make decisions using the best judgment and common sense.
* Supporting the Management Team in developing and leading initiatives that build sales, profitability, and unit performance.
* Overseeing cash handling responsibilities by ensuring secure safe handling.
* Safeguarding food safety and sanitation standards while ensuring quality is maintained.
* Maintaining an impressively clean bar
* Motivating and leading all staff members in a way that supports our vision.
* Accomplish objectives, goals, tasks and meet deadlines.
* The commitment to invest time and energy to grow professionally and personally.
* Model exceptional hospitality and coach the cocktail/bar team to do the same.
* Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
* Regularly review product quality
* Organize and supervise shifts
* Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
* Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
* Manage the bar’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
* Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and bar events
* Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
* Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future bar operations
* Inventory and Inventory control
* Promoting upcoming events and Specials throughout the New Braunfels community
