Job Title: Center Director.
LOCATION: Hays County, San Marcos, Texas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, education, social work, business administration, or a related discipline).
• At least five years of experience in program management and direction, preferably in a youth-focused or educational setting.
• Demonstrated experience working with youth and young adults, understanding their needs, challenges, and aspirations.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead a diverse team and oversee complex operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, program participants, and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, policies, and best practices related to youth programs and educational services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Leadership and Management:
• Providing strategic leadership and overall management of the Job Corps campus, ensuring the achievement of program goals and objectives.
• Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern the operations of the center.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive campus culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and respect among staff and program participants.
• Overseeing the recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of center staff members.

Program Direction and Quality Assurance:
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of program participants.
• Developing and implementing program strategies to enhance participant engagement, learning outcomes, and overall success.
• Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness through data analysis, participant feedback, and observation, making necessary adjustments to improve program performance.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and standards related to program operations.

Youth Development:
• Creating a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes the personal, academic, and career development of program participants.
• Collaborating with staff to develop and implement comprehensive youth development plans, including educational, vocational, and life skills training.
• Fostering strong relationships with participants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
• Promoting a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect, ensuring equal access and opportunities for all program participants.

Stakeholder Engagement:
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders, including community organizations, employers, educational institutions, and government agencies.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and secure resources, partnerships, and opportunities that enhance program outcomes and participant success.
• Representing the center and advocate for the program at community events, meetings, and conferences.
