Toddler Teacher

The Lead Teacher at Emaunel's Lutheran Day School is responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children.
This position involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering positive relationships with children and parents, and maintaining a safe and supportive classroom setting.
*Responsibilities:* *Curriculum Development:*Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
Create a curriculum that supports the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
*Classroom Management:*Establish and maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe learning environment.
Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive social interactions among children.
*Child Development Assessment:*Conduct ongoing observations and assessments of each child's development.
Provide regular progress reports to parents and guardians.
*Parent Communication:*Foster open and effective communication with parents and guardians.
Conduct parent-teacher conferences as needed to discuss child development and address concerns.
*Collaboration:*Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and support staff.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the childcare center.
*Health and Safety:*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety drills and emergency procedures.
*Professional Development:*Stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.
