Clear Springs Academy is a year-round, licensed childcare facility.
At CSA, early childhood teachers are responsible for carrying out a daily program designed to meet the children's physical and developmental needs.
We are seeking an infant teacher who is assertive, creative, emotionally mature and has a sense of humor.
Early education teachers must also be sensitive to children's needs and relate well to both children and adults.
As an infant teacher you will be responsible for caring for the daily physical, emotional, developmental and social well-being of children.
All the while implementing lessons that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our students.
Infant caregivers' duties:
* Ensuring safety and wellbeing of all children
* Feeding, changing diapers, and attending to the infant’s needs
* Provide a clean and safe environment.
* Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day.
* keep accurate records about the infant's daily activities
* be involved in the physical development of the infant by being vigilant for signs of developmental milestones
* encourage the child to form words, recognize pictures and mimic sounds and songs
* needs strong social skills to interact appropriately with parents
Requirements:
* 18 Years of Age
* High diploma or equivalent
* Availability, M-F.
Working schedule to vary based on center need during operating hours.
* Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willing to obtain.
* Good physical health to maintain energy level for stooping, running, standing, sitting on ground/floor, carrying children.
* Minimum of 6 months-1 year of teaching experience in a daycare or school setting.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
* Basic understanding of early childhood development.
* Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
* must be able to participate in mild-moderate vigorous activity with children.
* must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
