Daycare Floater/Lunch Preparer

Daily attendance is required.
This position is from 9:30-5:30, M-F.
Duties include but not limited to: Responsible for meal prep and preparing meals for children in childcare center.
Additionally, will be responsible for cleaning kitchen and meal areas, prepping for next day and maintaining adequate supplies.
Will keep director informed of needed supplies.
Floating teachers provide for the physical, emotional, developmental and social well-being of children in care.
Must: * Provide a safe environment.
* Keep classroom clean * Keep accurate records about daily activities * Attend to physicals needs of children * Encourage the child to form words, recognize pictures and mimic sounds and songs * Have strong social skills to interact appropriately with parents and students * Be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Be able to bend, stoop, and carry children.
* Be able to participate in mild-moderate vigorous activity with children and lift young children.
* Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Be dependable * Have the ability to step in lead teacher absence.
* Be positive, patient, and friendly * Have active food handlers permit * Keep clean and safe environment.
* Be able to work quickly and efficiently * Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Know basic kitchen skills * Be able to keep kitchen tidy and clean * Be able to plan ahead for supplies needed * Have the ability to stand for shift.
* Be able to pass a background check * Have the ability to stock foods from supply truck when delivered-including cases of frozen foods and large #10 cans.
Most holidays off including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Childcare not provided.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.
