We are a large, Christian adoptive family near Wimberley/Kyle, Texas.
We've adopted 9 children from around the world.
5 of our children still live at home and 4 of those 5 have disabilities, including Down syndrome and autism.
We prefer to hire caregivers who have experience with children who have disabilities and behavioral challenges.
Caregivers work one on one, with only 1 child at a time so we need 4 caregivers working daily.
I (Mom) have a rare blood cancer that causes chronic fatigue.
We are in need of wonderful, experienced caregivers to come alongside our family to help with our children.
3 of our children have autism so experience with behavioral challenges is a must! We live on a beautiful ranch with horses, cows, pigs, dogs, and cats, plus a large pool which helps on hot summer days.
Our children stay active and spend lots of time outside so tolerating Texas heat is a must.
Pay rate is $20/hour.
Typical shifts are 7AM-8PM, other hours are flexible.
Full-time is preferred, but part-time will be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate RBT or behavior technician since 3 of our children have autism.
Our children attend public school so after school shifts are 4-8PM, weekend/holiday shifts are 7AM-8PM.
