This is a great high mileage car, 218,200.
I bought it 2 years ago for $2500, and here is the honest assessment of it today
Good -
Engine runs great
Incredible gas mileage (35 City, 42 Highway)
All gauges work (except fuel warning light, see 'Bad')
5 Speed Manual
Crank Windows (no motors to break!)
Cold AC
Hot Heater
No body damage
No interior rips or tears
Perfect Headliner
Huge trunk with locked seat pass through
4 Door
Large Back Seat leg room
Reliable transportation
Clean Title in Hand
Bad -
Clutch is out
The clutch went out, which is the only reason I am selling it.
I don't have time or the skill to fix it.
It could be the clutch, it could be the clutch cable, I do not know and have not had it looked at.
The 'low gas' warning light does not work (Gauge is fine)
The turn indicators don't automatically turn off (you get used to manually pushing the lever to off)
The engine leaks a small amount of oil (Appears to be the valve cover seal, I have a brand new cover I bought, but not installed)
The right passenger window seal is cracked (It does NOT leak, and I have the rubber seal replacement, just not installed)
The battery will need to be jumped, it was strong when I last drove it, last August but has drained due to sitting.
When the clutch worked this was my daily driver.
Incredible value for money, very reliable, and even the small oil leak never got to a point of the warning light turning on between oil changes.
Fantastic car if you or a friend can fix the clutch.
As I mentioned, I paid $2500 2 years ago.
KBB average condition is currently $1881.
I will take $1250 and you get the spare parts mentioned.
