1956 Continental Mark II stk#11302 - $59,950 (New Braunfels)

1956 Continental Mark II The Continental Mark II (This was not a Lincoln) was built in 1956-57 (2550 in 56 & 444 in 57) as a flagship for Ford and was a true bespoke automobile that was the most expensive American vehicle ever built and was marketed against the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud.
While it does use a Ford drivetrain, the car is completely hand built and every one produced lost Ford thousands of dollars.
In 1958 Continental was then phased into Lincoln.
This one is in great shape.
Original carb (rare) is rebuilt, new Firestone period correct tires, lots of documentation, Extra air cleaner, original jack in the factory sheath.
Car runs and drives.
Paint is good, interior is nice and car is complete.
Everything works except the Air Conditioning.
All the A/c equipment is there but we never took the time to get going.
