*JOB TITLE: RECEPTIONIST / ATTENDANCE CLERK*
*Summary/Objective*
This position front desk clerk/receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, and data processing.
*Essential Functions*
* Assists with administrative tasks (prepare certified envelopes, copies, for HR Director and Safety Director and/or Department, order supplies, etc.
)
* Answers central telephone system for HR Department and directs calls accordingly.
* Answering central emails for HR Department and directs emails and attachments accordingly.
* Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department.
* Operates listed office machines as required.
* Prepares high volume of all, outgoing mail; sorts and distributes high volume incoming mail.
* Distributes materials by fax, email, ups, etc.
to the correct department
* Weekly Filing/Organizing employee folders
* Attendance Logs (accept calls, reach out to Managers about No Call No Shows, absences, etc.
)
*Supervisory Responsibility*
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
*Work Environment*
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work is done primarily indoors in a regulated central heat and air conditioned building.
Occasional exposure to cement dust in windy weather, occasional heat or cold exposure while people enter and exit plant.

This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.

to 5 p.
m.
and a one hour lunch.
