You will: Provide support to the front office and clinical staff in developing and implementing work plans and objectives Create an environment that the team works together across roles to accomplish goals and to ensure patients receive the quality care we promise Oversees the process to prepare patient for examinations and treatment Develop guidelines for prioritizing work, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying staffing to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained Identifies, analyzes, and resolves work issues Ensures any patient complaints are handled appropriately Assist front office to ensure point-of-service collections are made when applicable Ensures timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into billing system Performs administrative functions and complies data for reports and records Required to work alternate shifts and may float to other location Required to work in a staff position to fill open shifts You Should Have: Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants and course-work in healthcare office management is preferred 1 year + of medical office experience is required RMA, CMA, LVN, NCT, or LMRT certificate is preferred CPR and BLS are required within 30 days of employment Knowledge of clinic office procedures, organizational policies, systems, and objectives.
Familiarity with medical practice terminology Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and supervise staff Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures Ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, administration, and the public Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations The CareNow Urgent Care Clinic hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 8am – 9pm, Saturday 8am – 8pm, and Sunday 8am – 5pm.
