_*Come join our team and be a part of building something amazing!*_ *Job Summary: *The Palm Harbor Insurance Agency (PHIA) Policy Processor for Standard Casualty Company is responsible for processing the daily information for the department.
*Core Responsibilities/duties will include but are not limited to the following:* * Complete detailed data entry transactions * Process all incoming and outgoing cash * Record deposits * Prepare journal entries as required * Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports * Respond to all customer calls * Update all endorsement requests for policies with outside companies * Any additional duties as assigned by supervisor *Required job skills:* * High School Diploma or equivalent * Limited Insurance lines license * Must have customer service knowledge and general math skills * Must be detail and deadline oriented with excellent time management skills, data entry management and ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel spreadsheet proficiency *Preferred job skills:* * College Degree * Insurance Agency experience * Project management experience * Systems implementation and automation experience *Work Environment and Physical Demands with reasonable accommodations:* * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and be able to operate a computer or other office productivity machinery on a constant basis * Frequently required to communicate with co-workers and policy holders with the ability to exchange accurate information as necessary * Occasionally required to move about the office, ascend/descend stairs or a ladder or position self to maintain computers at workstation, including under the desk or other low areas * Occasionally required to move and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds * Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate * Position _may_ require temporary remote work.
Employee must have Wi-Fi connectivity and designated work area in their home.
